I've been dissapointed about the change in plans, but this makes me feel better:

Uniform is BDU, Kevlar, LBE, Weapon w/Bayonet as applicable,
Protective Mask, and face shields.

Sounds like we'll actually have something to do after all.

My weekend plans have changed, and not for the better. Don't want to talk much about it other than to say I'm very disappointed. The only good thing is that I might get time to talk to the 1159th about the 93P. Oh and I might get to see Jaif and the gang.

I'm looking at 2 US tanks on a bridge in Baghdad. It's surreal to see live images of a war. They're firing the coax .50 at someone right now. Earlier I was watching live video of the A-10s. It's so captivating. Holy crap they just shot the camera! That's classic. Look they're already on the CNN site
